I recently obtained my GED after 16 years out og school now i am at fcc and i can come back or call anytime knowing that i can recieve the help and guidenence i need. The computer assistence center has helped with with work,housing,jobs,daycare,tutotring and i love the peoples attitudes. I really like the way some teachers teach their class. Some are real helpful and caring about students grade. Others even let you borrow the text books in order for you to have a good grade or to at least pass the class. I also like the way Fresno Adult School was built, it's real creative.

When i first attended here i was very uncertain of what and where i needed to do,and on the very first day, i felt at eased becuase the staff,teachars, and all that work here are more than eagar to help me learn. like i tell all who wants to listen and do not have a deaf ear, you want it bad enough, taste the will to learn and it is good!!!!! I am a forty-two year old woman and i cannot express the joy of having this school in this area. This school is a Godsend!! I am able to study in room 108, a place where the staff is quick to help you and the techars will find a way to get the resources you need by finding information.

We need more time and more microwaves to eat our lunch because of there being only two microwaves there is always a very long line so we only get about 5 to 10 minutes to eat and that is not enough time

my teacher for the ged preperation class really puts in extra effort when it comes to helping his students learn and prepare for the ged test. I don't think he or other teachers get enough appreciation for all there hard work and time they put into helping students reach there goals. The programs really work as long as the students apply themselves to reaching there desired goals. Thank You !!!!!!!!

they need to come up with some kind protocol for student parents with children that have special needs. such as haveing time for important meetings such as IEP meetings or what ever is related to the needs of the child. right now at Chavez the attitude is if you miss a certain amount of days you are automatically dorped. there is no grey area for things that are out of your contorl and that is not fair. there need to be some way the school can help single parents that are faced with these type of situations.

I think that overall, FAS is a very good school for continuing education for adults.

It would be helpful if when someone calls for information that the person on the other end knew how to help you and not tell you "I don't know" . Why are they here if they cannot help you? Also the waiting time for an answer is way too long . One should not have to wait over half an hour on the phone to get help.
